Synopsis: Four desperate housewives decide to trek to the Antarctic South Pole. They’re in their 40s, they’re married with kids and they’re fed up with the daily grind. Unfit and inexperienced on ice they have 18 months to transform themselves from suburban mum to Antarctic explorer AND raise $1 million! They call their quest the Ice Maiden Expedition. Are they mad? Once there, they must find their way across 1200km of icy wilderness; hauling heavy kayaks, surviving extreme cold, blizzards and crevasses.
