To kick-off 2011, Multivisionnaire Pictures will be at the first international film sales market of the year – Berlinale/EFM. For the 5th year in a row, Multivisionnaire will be in Berlin to meeting with key international theatrical – telelvision – and DVD buyers and distributors. Once again, Multivisionnaire’s stand will be centerally lacted at the Martin-Gropius Bau during the entire market. Multivisionnare will be at Martin-Gropius Bau (MGB) #108 on the first floor from Februay 10th to the 16th.

CONGRATULATIONS to Paul N.J. Ottosson, Producer of STUCK! for winning 2 Academy Awards — Best Sound Editing & Best Sound Mixing for THE HURT LOCKER.

Paul came to United Stated from Sweden 1987 as a musician. MultiVisionnaire has acquired the worldwide right to Steve Balderson’s fourth feature film STUCK!. The faithful homage to film noir women-in-prison films stars Academy-nominated Karen Black, Susan Traylor, Jane Wiedlin (the Go-Gos), Mink Stole, Stacy Cunningham, Starina Johnson and Pleasant Gehman. It’s the story of Daisy, an innocent young woman framed for killing her mother. Condemned by the press and the public, Daisy is found guilty of murder and sentenced to die by hanging. This jazzy, finger-snapping, broads-behind-bars film is a throwback to another era, with terse Tennessee Williams-style verbal sparring, non-stop action and enough bad-girl jailhouse hi-jinks to make the audience lose the distinction between good and evil.
Steve Balderson, whose second feature FIRECRACKER was given by Roger Ebert a special jury award on Ebert’s list of Best Films, is one of today’s most talented visual storyteller. Balderson is highly praised by international film critics as “one of the great cult filmmakers of all time.”

STUCK! is also chosen by the American Cinematheque to showcase at the Hollywood landmark, Egyptian Theatre, on February 3rd, 2010. American Cinematheque screens the best of worldwide cinema, video and television from the past and present – ranging from the classics to the outer frontiers of the art form.

Los Angeles, USA – May 9, 2009 — Los Angeles based international sales and distribution boutique, MultiVisionnaire Pictures, is pleased to announce the acquisition of the British Rom-Com “MR. RIGHT” ahead of Cannes. MultiVisionnaire will be handling world sales for the film.

By first time female director, Jacqui Morris, this romantic comedy takes place in SoHo London, it’s a story about a woman who thought she’d met the man of her dreams. But it all goes curiously wrong when she introduced him to her gay friends…In a modern world where straight men are waking up to the fact that gay people are the gate-keepers of the cool in-set, MR. RIGHT gives a crash course on understanding how their clique works.

The long awaited North American Premiere of “The Dark Lurking” is this weekend at Fangoria’s Weekend Of Horror (at the Los Angeles Convention Center). Only one screening of ‘The Dark Lurking’ is scheduled for Saturday, April 18 at 4:15 pm in Room 501 A-C (West Hall Building; 2nd Floor). Stuart Wall, one of the film’s producer will be on-hand to introduce the film.
